I feel so liberated.  I am so close to being done my correspondence courses, finally free of all that relationship drama and family shit.  School is finished in just over a week, and then, other than diplomas, months and months of reading and gardening and camping and crafting and picnicking, and bike riding and tree-climbing lie ahead of me... The fall is really just going to be a slightly colder extension of the summer, seeing as i will be doing virtually nothing.  Working a little and traveling for a few months in the spring.  Currently however, my friend Victoria and I are in the process of getting a booth at the farmers market - she is a jewelery-making genius - and although i don't think anything i make will even nearly stack up to her brilliance, at least mine will be sitting next to hers on the table, thus making them look that much better ;).

This summer I want to bask in the sun, without a care in the world.
I want picnics on the grass, and long walks late at night.
I want to wake up early to the sound of birds chirping, and sunbeams streaming through my window.
I want to go to bed late, and sleep in a tent under the stars.
I want to eat raspberries from our garden until i can't anymore.
I want to travel across the world, and across the country in a van full of friends.
I want to feel soft the grass beneath my toes, and jump through puddles of water in a rainstorm!
Summer, please come soon!

Last weekend was our first few rugby games - we had a tournament.  Unfortunately it snowed more than 2 feet and got all the way down to -27ºC on the field, so we had to drop out halfway through due to injuries and players becoming hypothermic.  WTF!  Why do we live in this country?  In February I could understand, and would be far more delighted with such weather, but it's almost Fucking May!

We have this wonderful little Sunday ritual, or I should say Hallie(the pooch) does. Every Sunday we take her to a doggie park! It’s interesting because she hates the other dogs and tries as best she can to ignore them all – until they steal her stick... It’s always a lot of fun!

Hello good people :)  Sorry it's taken me such a long time to update, my lovely parents took away my internet.  Yesterday i just went and re-connected it, so hopefully when they find out i don't loose it for longer, heh heh.  Anyway, my sewing machine is being so frustrating, i haven't sewn anything in a while.  But here are a few pictures i randomly took of myself (i was really bored okay, lol) and some of my dog, Hallie's birthday, which was yesterday :)
