Its finished, FINALLY!!! It took me the entirety of the last week to paint my room! 5 full days of fucking painting! GAH! I am now in the process of putting my room back together, which should be an equally awesome task, yayyy! Today, as Louis (the lovely black pony), Pete (bluish and cream) and Penelope (the one on drugs) frolicked about, enjoying some afternoon snackidge, they stumbled upon five ponies they had never before seen. They quickly made friends (Pete shared some of his lumps of sugar). They learned the names of these delightful newcomers. Horace being the black and white pony, Horhay the purple and cream, Lyndon the chestnutish one, Clamentine being orangeish and paint colored, and Keegs being red and spotted. They decided, soon after making friends, that together they would form their own herd, celebrating individuality and uniqueness!! ♥

i. This week has consisted of early mornings, very late nights, rain, climbing buildings, watching sunsets and laying under the starry skies for hours, nectarines and strawberries, picnics, catching up with old friends, drunken adventures, letter writing, late night runs and far too much dreaming.

ii. I am ridiculously broke. I have no job all summer. I'm thinking of setting up a lemonade stand...

iii. I watched Charlie Bartlett for the first time a few days ago, the score SO GOOD!!!!!

I feel so liberated. I am so close to being done my correspondence courses, finally free of all that relationship drama and family shit. School is finished in just over a week, and then, other than diplomas, months and months of reading and gardening and camping and crafting and picnicking, and bike riding and tree-climbing lie ahead of me... The fall is really just going to be a slightly colder extension of the summer, seeing as i will be doing virtually nothing. Working a little and traveling for a few months in the spring. Currently however, my friend Victoria and I are in the process of getting a booth at the farmers market - she is a jewelery-making genius - and although i don't think anything i make will even nearly stack up to her brilliance, at least mine will be sitting next to hers on the table, thus making them look that much better ;).

So right now i'm in the midst of finishing my correspondence courses: 1/3 of social and 3/4 of english! Yaaay! Oh yes, and its all due by next Wednesday or my life is actually over! Sweet! During this time tetris has become my life, it is now how i spend every waking moment that is not occupied with school work. This isn't depressing at all. Love my life.

Happy Easter friends! I hope you have had as lovely of a holiday as i did. I did literally nothing! We had our family dinner on Friday, and it was truly marvelous! Some family and friends, as well as two of my bestest buddies joined us, and the only thing that could have made it more perfect was an egg hunt, however since the youngest person present was 17, i can fully understand why it wasn't done. We did, however, eat a great deal too many kinder surprises, and watch pixar movies, so... Today was a delightful day filled with large cups of coffee and many helpings of french toast! I watched so many episodes of Project Runway Canada and the Office, that during which, i managed to devour an entire container of nutella. This has been, in my opinion, a weekend well spent!

I have decided that I’m quitting Starbucks this week. The novelty wore off months and months ago and i really wonder why i still work there... Especially since i already have another, better paying job, not to mention all the shitty hours they keep giving me. My new boss is a bitch, and thus my decision has been made!

Holy Scheiße!!! Its been forever! So many marvelous things have progressed over the last few months that have caused ever so much excitement! Apart from the normal insanity of working and school and all other normal shenanigans, I spent a few weeks in Germany staying with this delightful girl who i have come to call "Satan's Spawn" - but despite having to stay with her i still had such an amazing time! I also turned 18, yeahhh man, legalll!!!!! So much fun! And in an effort to get back into the artisticness i've decided to start project 365 - starting today :D. So hello! I'm back, and for good this time!

Hiatus

Today, for the most part has been a fairly unpleasant day, what with it being the first day back to school after a week off. I found some things to cheer me up though :)

There are so many fascinating new developments in my life right now. By far the most exciting, my getting a week off of school for this newly invented "November break"! I'm not really sure what inspired this, but i'm certainly not complaining. I am also getting to sell some crafts at a craft sale in two weeks, it's rather convenient, having this week off, especially since i'm not at all ready.

This marvelous week shall be filled with sleeping in late, drinking very large cups of coffee, eating big breakfasts, and reading my harry potter books in front of the fire. A great deal of my week will also be spent sitting in quaint little coffee shops, where i work best, doing school assignments, sipping perhaps a gingersnap or pumpkin spice latte or even peppermint mocha. And if i tire of the endless school work i have, i will likely be out on long bundled up walks, wearing multiple scarves and mitts with animal faces on them; walking through fictitious snow. The rest of my time will be spent sewing and crafting while listening to the Beatles as loud as my speakers will allow.

Current Reads:
After finishing rereading The Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets and the Prisoner of Azkaban, i am continuing through the rest of the incredibly enthralling series of Harry Potter. Book number 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K. Rowling, page 161, chapter 12: Hermione is constructing ideas from which she will begin her lifelong quest to save the house elves!
